In short

Bev is an AI-powered hiring platform that connects employers and NGOs with candidates in Syria and abroad. By using Bev you agree to provide truthful information, respect other users, and not abuse the service. Extra rules apply when you post a vacancy or apply to one.

1. About Bev

Bev (“the platform”, “we”, “us”) is operated by the Bev team, based in Damascus, Syria. The services offered through bevsr.com and its applications exist to match candidates with vacancies posted by private employers, NGOs, and project teams.

By using any part of the platform — whether you create an account or simply browse public pages — you agree to these Terms and to our linked Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

2. Your account

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you create an account on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

Accuracy of information

You warrant that all information you submit — your name, contacts, CV, or company details — is true and up to date. Misleading information may lead to applications being rejected or your account being suspended.

One account per person

You may not create more than one personal account on Bev. If you have trouble accessing your account, contact support before creating a new one.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for every action taken under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Employers & organizations

If you post a vacancy or project, you confirm that the role is real and open, and that the details entered (title, location, pay, contract type, requirements) are accurate and not misleading.

Required information

  • Your organization or company name, and an official email for communication.
  • A clear, specific job title (e.g. "React Frontend Developer", not just "Developer").
  • Core requirements — skills, experience, languages.
  • Location and contract type (full-time, part-time, remote, volunteer).
  • When applications open and close.

Not permitted

  • Posting vacancies that do not belong to a real organization.
  • Charging candidates any fee to apply or interview.
  • Harvesting applicant data for purposes outside the advertised role.
  • Reposting the same vacancy from multiple accounts to game the filters.

4. Candidates

When you upload a CV or apply to a vacancy, you confirm that the information is about you and is truthful. Do not claim credentials or experience that are not yours.

References you add must be real people who have agreed to be contacted by you or the employer. Exaggeration or impersonation can lead to your application being removed and your account suspended.

5. Prohibited conduct

You may not use Bev to:

  • Harass, threaten, or send abusive content to other users.
  • Post content that incites violence, discrimination, or breaks Syrian or international law.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or to our infrastructure.
  • Scrape or extract data without Bev's written permission.
  • Send bulk commercial messages (spam) through our chat system.
  • Disrupt the service or distribute malicious software.

6. Your content & IP

You own the content you post on Bev — your CV, your company logo, vacancy text, messages. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display and process it only to the extent needed to run the service (matching, search, showing vacancies).

We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for marketing outside the platform without your explicit consent. Your files and documents remain yours, and you can delete them at any time.

7. AI features

Bev uses AI to extract skills and experience from CVs and to rank candidates against vacancies. These AI outputs are advisory only — the final hiring decision always rests with the employer.

AI extraction can occasionally be wrong; we encourage users to review the extracted data and edit where needed. AI outputs must not be relied on as a conclusive guarantee of fit or competence.

8. Google Calendar & Meet integration

Bev lets employers optionally connect their Google account to schedule interviews and auto-generate Google Meet links. By enabling this integration you agree that:

  • You are the lawful owner of the Google account you connect, or you have explicit authority to use it on behalf of your organization.
  • You grant Bev permission to create, update, and cancel interview events on your calendar, strictly within the scopes you have approved.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the interview content you create (title, description, invitees).
  • Google Meet is a service provided by Google itself, subject to Google’s own terms. Bev does not guarantee Meet availability or call quality.
  • You can disconnect at any time from the “Integrations” page in Bev, or from your Google account security settings.

Any Google data we receive is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and specifically the “Google Calendar & Meet integration” section, including our commitment to the Limited Use requirements of the Google API Services User Data Policy.

9. Fees & paid features

Bev is currently free for all users during our launch phase. We may later introduce paid features for employers (e.g. featured listings, higher hiring limits); any fees will be clearly disclosed before you commit, and nothing will be charged without your explicit consent.

10. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Bev is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those required by law. We do not guarantee that the platform will be available without interruption or error-free, nor do we guarantee that a candidate will receive an offer or that an employer will find a suitable hire.

Bev disclaims responsibility for any agreements reached directly between employers and candidates. Any dispute arising from an actual employment relationship is between the two parties only; we are not a party to it.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaks these Terms, harms other users, or violates the law. We typically send a warning before suspending, unless the situation requires immediate action.

You can delete your account at any time from account settings. Your personal data will be erased within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Syrian Arab Republic. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Damascus, unless local law provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or inside the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Bev after that date means you accept the new version.
